DEER PARK ALPHA 2

Deer Park Alpha 2 was released on 2005-07-12.

This release is the second release in the Deer Park product development cycle. It includes all major and significant features, whether pref'd on or off in order to achieve wider testing and to solicit quality feedback. The quality standard of this release is pre-production and therefore it should be of the quality required to support testing, and for extension, theme and web application developers to begin compatibility and feature testing in advance of Firefox 1.5. It may break some but not all 1.0+ targeted Extensions. It should not contain any significant known crashers.

FIREFOX 1.5 RC1

Firefox 1.5 RC1 was released on 2005-11-01.

This is the first Release Candidate (RC1) for Firefox 1.5. It is officially branded and has been released to a wider community for testing and quality feedback. It should be of close to production quality as possible and will also be an opportunity for Extension, Theme, and web application developers to finalize their support for Firefox 1.5.

Firefox 1.5 RC2 was released on 2005-11-10.

This is the second Release Candidate (RC2) for Firefox 1.5. It is officially branded and released to a wider community for testing and quality feedback. It is of as close to production quality as possible and will also be an opportunity for Extension, Theme, and web application developers to finalize their support for Firefox 1.5.

This will be the 3rd Release Candidate (RC2) for Firefox 1.5 addressing any regressions or other bugs uncovered in the 2nd Release Candidate (RC2). It will be officially branded as Firefox 1.5 and will be released to the community for testing and quality feedback. It should be of production quality and is also a final opportunity for Extension, Theme, l10n and web application developers to finalize their support for Firefox 1.5 before final release.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Begins immediately after 1.5 RC2 release

Estimated Release Date: ~ Friday November 18th 2005

If no issues are identified with this build, it will be released as Firefox 1.5 (Final)
