PRD Status Update

• Perma Links: Current PRD & Detailed Feature List & Firefox Next Requirements.
• Outstanding Change Requests to review.
• AI: Damon/Basil to setup a time to review the critical printing bug queue - Some bugs have been nominated for Firefox 3. Printing & Print Preview criticals.
• AI: Basil & team to finalize Fx 3 distro requirements. Recommendation is to use the ini "method" for customization. - New PRD items submitted for consideration.

Work in progress

• Places
  • 52 open bugs targeting A6 (view list). Will triage for blockers this week.
  • Full-text indexing proposal by Kunal Jain (SOC project) is up here. Feedback appreciated, please comment in the talk page.
  • Tagging prototype: standalone xul is up at [1].Fully implemented extension with Places backend is also in progress. Blog and other relevant information on [2] and [3]

• Download Manager
  • Landed Bug 382081 - Small downloads don't show in download manager when already open. [regression]
  • Landed Bug 382825 - Add a retryDownload method to the download manager back-end. (pulls code out of front end)
  • UI Overhaul started (spec'd by mconnor)

• Firebug
  • Waiting to get some patches landed

• Web-based content handlers
  • Sorted out multiple backend issues for protocol handlers (needs checkin)
  • Changed preferences plan from prefs to integration with existing RDF code
  • Much UI discussion & iteration in the newsgroup
  • Work is progressing more slowly than expected, working with mconnor to sort out issues here.
