  • Plugin WantsName interface is now honored whenever a plugin is created using the PluginWrapper.
  • Nearly finished exposing `write_message` API to Lua decoders to allow scribbling on an existing message.
  • Added support for NaN in Lua filters.
  • Added ability to iterate through message fields in sandboxed Lua code.

  • Sync just became Real Important. Everyone is scrambling.
  • Defining a 1.5 protocol to see what we can pull off
  • Working to get a stage cluster up again.

Location Service (hannosch, rtilder, vng)

  • More progress on new map prototype, design preview at http://cl.ly/image/370W0L34371c
  • Integrated and test-deployed hekad for stats/timing gathering
  • Had to introduce rate limitations on search/geolocate API to prevent some joker from trying to abuse the service
  • Added new cross-region read replica and took manual DB snapshots. Should act as a safeguard in case anything happens to one AWS zone during the x-mas holidays
  • Rewrote / refactored all code that made it into the MySQL slow log and removed unused indices
  • Good progress on handling incomplete cell records in smarter ways
  • MozStumbler moved into github.com/mozilla organization, new release with basic network failure tolerance during data uploads
