Running a bot

Hi, I'd like to run a bot cleaning Special:DoubleRedirects. I'm running this kind of bot on mediawiki.org and many other wikis. I do not want to flood RecentChanges with this kind of changes, so bot flag will help hiding this edits. Since I couldn't find a process for user-rights, can you help me finding where to go?
