Jetpack is rebooting!

The old Jetpack extension is being phased out, as it was intended as a prototype and didn't take a number of things into account, such as security and extensibility. The reboot takes all of these things into account and is being built from the ground-up for use in production environments. In fact, unlike the Jetpack prototype, the reboot actually allows you to build your Jetpacks into XPIs that you can use in current versions of Firefox, Thunderbird, and other Mozilla-based applications.
