Who We Are

Evangelism is a small and friendly team at Mozilla. We are made up of people who care about the Open Web, we care about Mozilla and Firefox and we try and spread the stories that matter to web developers, end users and anyone else that will listen.

Web Developers

1. Standards and cross-browser compatibility. We work with web developers to help them understand why building web pages using open standards and open tools is important, how they can achieve cross-browser compatibility using standard methods and libraries, and how they can help tell that story to others who might be interested as well.

2. Feedback on Firefox and Mozilla. Sometimes web developers have questions about how something in Firefox works. We try and collect that feedback and work with the Mozilla developer community to drive changes or explain why something is the way that it is.

3. Evangelize the joy that is Firefox. Firefox leads the pack of web browsers with is balance of leading standards and web developer features, performance, end user utility along with a great feel. It's our job to talk about what makes Firefox different from the rest of the pack. This includes posting about new features, how things work, building interesting demos and technical documentation for features.
