Overview

As we have additional folks working with us on this project we need to define the framework within which we will all work. This is intended to be a collaborative framework and process within which this framework is built.

Initial Notes

We have started to gather ideas for the framework here.

  • Use github and pull requests
  • Document your modules in the repository README
    • Modules will not be considered for inclusion without thorough and up-to-date documentation.
  • All development needs to happen on Open Stack VMs
    • As far as possible you should be dogfooding the system and not developing locally or in Vagrant VMs.
  • Deploy Open Stack on Open Stack for developing on Open Stack
    • Do not develop on the Open Stack cluster directly. Any issue here breaks the system for everyone.
