- Having a discussion about whether to de-emphasize official operating hours after queue status is shown to users.
- Advantages: users can start a live chat any time a helper indicates that he/she wants a chat, contributors can help any time a room monitor is available to watch, "official" hours can be updated continuously based on which hours are most popular
- Disadvantages: We may have less coverage during official hours if contributors are too spread out
