Project overview & Goals

Overview:
When Firefox 4 launches, for everyone that tweets using the #fx4 hashtag, we add their Twitter profile image to a Firefox collage so at the end of the day we have a huge Firefox 4 logo made up of Twitter profile photos.

Goals:

- Engage our users and give them a sense of belonging

QA

Meeting Notes

02/15
Added a couple of enhancements the user experience

1. Browser sniffing
There should be no download button if the user visiting the page is already using Firefox 4. The page will sniff the browser version and adapt the page version accordingly?

2. Desktop / desktop + mobile copy / mobile version
In order to accomodate the launch of the mobile version of Firefox 4, we will be using 2 different sets of copy in the container: one prior and one after mobile launch. We will have to switch them on our server when mobile launches.
Also, we asked Quodis to explore developing a mobile-friendly version of this page once the first iteration is live.

02/16
Finalizing design and copy.
Quodis doing additional work on logo animation for maximum cross-browser compatibility.
