VIDEO TUTORIAL PROJECT
Goals
- Provide additional activities for FSAs to participate that ,
- are not country dependent
- allows to showcase their work at global level
- teach the opportunites available in Capture Mozilla and Webmaker Projects
- To further develop relationship between Capture Mozilla and Webmaker Projects
- Have videos as additional way of maketing about the following programs ,
- FSA
- Capture Mozilla
- Webmaker
- Use these videos as easy way for new volunteers to learn about the program
- To make reporting mechanism for FSA's about their or club activites easier
- Help FSAs to dive deeper into every products of Mozilla and come up with videos that help newbie's to catchup things easily

Process to create video
FSA's will follow the below steps to create the video ,
1. FSAs can produce a footage or make use of existing footage
- if new footage is produced, it has to be uploaded at their personal Youtube channel (or vimeo)
2. Using Popcorn maker, FSAs can make tutorials either by ,
- Making use of footage from the previous step
Example : Welcome to Mozilla
- without using any footage ( just by using pictures and text )
Example : Mentoring Hours Protocol
3. After remixing with Popcorn, FSAs can publish their video. For every publish, Popcorn gives a unique url
4. FSAs will submit the url to Video review team
5. Review team will select the best tutorial / remixes and publish them in final posting platform
NOTE : The above process is just a suggestion not the confirmed !
Qualifications for good video
Following are the qualifications that video should meet inorder to move into the final posting platform ,
- Properly aligned with the theme given
- Submitted within the period given
- Must be a remix of their own footage / video
- Time duration must be under 3 Minutes
- Video should have Universal subtitles
- Video should have atleast one starting and ending slide templates for each theme
- Must be a registered FSA
- Video should be understandable and well communicate the message
Approval process
Following are few suggestions on the video approval process ,
- RMA's will select the winner and inform the SWG
- Should there be a Voting to select winners
Final posting platform

Theme suggestions
