5. Better Keyboard handling for attachments (implement Tab and Ctrl+Tab stop for composition's attachment pane) - [bug 473901]

7. New MAC Keyboard shortcut for Get Messages / Get All New Messages - Command Y / Command Shift Y and F5 like Windows - [bug 655989]

12. Import from Outlook and Outlook Express doesn't import birthday field - [bug 152252]
13. Thunderbird 9 Beta 3: Graphics Acceleration disabled for all Thunderbird users by default since few Thunderbird use cases are helped by acceleration (hidden pref still available if you want to turn it on) - [bug 689742], [bug 693852], [bug 668552]

Thunderbird 8 and previous release regressions fixed in TB 9

1. Mac OS X ONLY: Can't open new windows if any windows are on a secondary monitor & bottom of secondary is NOT TOP aligned with primary - [bug 644733],[GS] WORKAROUND: align top of secondary with top of bottom monitor - fixed in FF 9,should therefore be fixed in TB 9
2. blanks at the end of email-address in Settings prevents displaying of inline images - [bug 68542], fixed in TB9
3. Plaintext part not sent for multipart alternatve send option - instead 2 HTML copies are sent - [bug 688991] REGRESSION
4. Thunderbird 5 always print background colour - Known REGRESSION, see bug 674211 is thunderbird bug GS,[bug 652914 is gecko core bug] - I believe this will land in FF9 and TB9
5. New entry in address book not saved when Short Date format to: "dddd dd MMM" - [bug 677884] e.g. when using Hebrew calendar instead of Greogrian Calendar - fix landed in TB9, bug present since at least TB5
6. Attachments with non multi-part messages without filenames are not shown by Thunderbird - WORKAROUNDS - i) (1) Tools/Options/Advanced/General, Config Editor | set mailnews.display.show_all_body_parts_menu to true (2) View/Message Body As/All Body Parts OR ii) show all body parts add-on ; REGRESSION; fixed in TB11 [bug 701261] - backported to TB9beta4 and TB10 - also perhaps bug 705431
