  • Mobile beta10 gtb was late yesterday
  • Mobile RC gtb today
  • Desktop RC2 drivers
    • bug 1046645 [l10n] Test failure "There is a lock icon - 'url("chrome://browser/skin/identity-icons-https-mixed-display.png")' should contain 'identity-icons-https.png'" in testDVCertificate.js
      • Results in warning icon being displayed instead of the padlock icon for sites with verified identities
    • bug 1058131 crash in mozilla::dom::Element::SetAttr(int, nsIAtom*, nsAString_internal const&, bool)
      • Top crash that looks to have been introduced in beta9
  • Keep in mind we need to give Apple our RC builds a week before shipping.
    • Good idea to create a Sumo article about how to work around with a click through

Add-ons

No updates

Stability

Nightly

Aurora

  • Crash rates have improved and the top IPC crash is gone, but a number of other OMTC-related crashes still show up in the top 10.

Beta

  • JS:Heap:set bug 1008107 seems successfully fixed in b9
  • JS_TransplantObject startup crash bug 1053999 is not :(
  • Numbers are getting into the same ballpark as we were before releasing 31, but experiments shutdown crashes are much lower, so overall we seem to be worse.
  • mozilla::dom::Element::SetAttr startup crash bug 1058131 is new and seems to be correlated with a new Avast version.

Release

  • Nothing new, slight decrease in overall crash rates.

Mobile

  • Nothing to report, things are going decently and 32 looks good for release.

    • lmandel notes that the feedback system worked exactly as it's supposed to. :)
