authentication with google has been tricky
- there are maybe four ways to do auth with google, none fit perfectly, ended up doing cookie based oauth redirect
- choice may change again depending on the needs of the front end implementations
- currently have an FxA style oauth-2 dance, Google prefers using "sign in with google", which looks like Persona

- integration with okta is also an option but didn't look simpler
- possible to do but not happy
worked out mocks to understand what pages exist
- list of studies page, leads into studies details page
worked out the data structure and json blobs
got basic redux example working
need to solidify the oauth workflow
- have an example over on the marketplace team
- may still be simpler to do it all in django
- would be nice to separate the service from the client
lots of work applicable to new things

next steps -- figuring out the auth dance

There's a potential project in answering common biz-dev questions
Looking forward, we may end up owning a.t.m.o and s.t.m.o in Q3
- owning these probably means adding new capabilities, like a permissions system or a data glossary
- will discuss more in London
