General note:

  • M4 has a large set of bugs (44 bugs), M5 on the other hand is pretty small (17 bugs). If possible triage M4s down to M5s. Also, on a recent triage of M4, a few bugs were WFM. Triage your lists!

  • M3 Bug 1070096 - Collect no SessionStore information for about:tabcrashed pages
    • One dependency landed, the other waiting on review from ttaubert (bug 1075658)
  • M3 Bug 1065785 - Use session restore to reload crashed tabs
    • Got good feedback from smacleod, will have another draft of the patch up soon (tomorrow?)
  • M3 Bug 927188 - e10s support for Printing
    • Got a really hacky printing patch that lets us print in OS X and Windows, so long as we never spawn print dialogs or progress dialogs.
    • Currently working on a proxy service (like the screen manager stuff I did) to use IPC to open progress and print dialogs from the parent instead.
  • Bug 1025146 - [e10s] Make it so that we can view document source without hitting the network
    • This got downgraded in terms of priority, so I had looked at it a bit earlier and successfully retrieved the document source from the bfcache, but I've stopped looking at this for now.
  • Reviews, etc.
  • I'm on PTO next Wed-Fri inclusive.

  • Bug 1068412 - resource: substitutions are not always sent to the child process (M3): landed
  • Bug 1075658 - Enable remaining session store tests that are disabled in e10s (M3): waiting on review
  • Bug 1077738 - Session restored about:newtab pages are retained in session history (follow-on from M4): waiting on review
