Aurora / Dev Edition

  • Overall rate: 2.2 (target: <1.5) - browser: 1.3, content: 0.9 - red, down from Tuesday
  • content crashes are improving a lot, could be due to the ongoing experiments to some degree
  • bug 1218128, crashes connected to window neutering, are a large part of browser crashes here as well, backout was done for 43.

Beta

  • Overall rate: 1.2 - yellow, improving
  • Only a very small portion of users are on RC yet in this data b9:RC is 18:1 ADI-wise
  • RC data in terms of signatures looks pretty good again \o/
  • bug 1219319 (media crash in msmpeg2vdec.dll) is ~3.5% of RC1 data, did rise last week, complaints of users that Facebook video crashes, patch in bug 1205083 fixes those and will be taken for RC2
  • bug 1219330 (layers::TextureClient::CreateForYCbCr) was higher in early data, down to ~1% now, but looks like UAF, so potential security implications, an at least partial patch is probably coming for RC2

  • Overall rate: 0.9 - green

Mobile

  • Crash rates are improving on beta, but not as much as we'd like to see. We will probably not regress from 41, but we may not improve too much from its relatively bad level.
  • The release build has an important fix for high-ranking crash bug 1204483
