Summary:

Upcoming UX changes in Firefox will not only restore but dramatically enhance the place of add-ons in the Firefo Desktop UI. In this session I'll showcase where we're headed with this project and showcase how add-ons can easily leverage the new UI features via Jetpack or restartless add-ons. No XUL necessary!

Add-ons are a key reason why users choose Firefox, and we're working hard to make sure that add-ons in Firefox are a great experience and continue to be a compelling reason to choose Firefox and drive desktop growth.

Interest in the add-on developer community in leveraging these new features.

Desired Audience Type or Skill-set: previous add-on/web development would be great.
