This talk and workshop will show how to conquer the user experience and testing challenges that app developers will face in an increasingly competitive apps marketplace. We'll learn about and then try out various tricks of the trade, including:
- How to conduct a think-aloud user test on an app
- How to make the most out of user feedback from beta testing
- Principles of user experience
- Determining who your users are, what their metrics of success are, and how to test for the right metrics
How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozCampEU2012/Tracks):
- Focuses on testing of apps
- Is interactive: participants will try several different user testing methods during the session
