Title of Session: Marketing Collective - Next Steps

How are you currently involved with the community?: we're project leads for the Marketing Collective, Mary heads Contributor Engagement

Location of Work (where do you reside?): Paris and SF

Talk Length (please choose between 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes): 30 mins

Summary: since it was first proposed in early 2012, the Marketing Collective has raised a lot of interest among Mozillians interested in participating in our Engagement activities and the opportunity to make an impact in their country. We will present a summary of the project for newcomers, list the next steps and open up discussion on how to best leverage the program to empower local communities, followed by a brief brainstorming on how to recruit new members.

How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals ( The session will focus on Mozilla's goal to grow and strenghten its community of volunteers, as well as open the Engagement to all Mozillians, helping us increase the reach and relevance of all our actions locally.

Expected Outcome or Deliverable: Increased awareness and understanding of the project. New sign-ups and people ready to spread the word.

Desired Audience Type or Skill-set: Anyone interested in taking part to our Engagement efforts and "believes" in Marketing
