Title of Session : Mozilla and Arabic region : between priorities, unexplored areas and new challenges !

Summary:

Arabic region (North Africa and some countries in Middle East ) represents an area largely undiscovered and sometimes a lot of difficulties persist for the access to technologie. Many communities are spirited to emerge but difficulties concerning access to technologies and resources can sometimes paralyze them. But when we think about it, this region is still unexplored and the potential that can be revealed from it can be very large. Mozilla is changing and some projects are pushed forward and we need to start thinking about how can we use the potentiel of this community. The idea is to make a kind of 'barcamp style session' to identify problems of these communities and especially try to find solutions. We will give 10 minutes to brainstorm on the topics treated and the documents we will write. We will also aim to came out at the end of this session with a sort of documentation and guidelines for new communities in this region or communities.

Solutions and action plan for the arabic region concerning the new projects of Mozilla. Make the arabic region more involved in Mozilla and push new communities to start.

Expected Outcome or Deliverable:

Action Plan for the coming 6 months. Full documentation.

evengilist from the EU community, persons from the marketing team, leaders from the remo program from the region.
