Discussion Items
Project Status
CrashKill [tomcat/marcia]
- Tomcat

- Marcia
- Actively looking at trunk crashes and filing bugs. Especially focusing on the fallout from the XPCOM landing.
Accessibility Status Update [marco]
Summit [marcia]
- I think the presentations were very well received. Rainer thinks the QA keynote might make a good video subject on its own. [marcia]
QA Videos [marcia]
- Rainer made Videos with Martijn, Whimboo and me (Tomcat)
- after talking with a lot of people at the Summit i think we have to have this shots in the QA Video because the current video is too MV centric and 77 % of our User Base (and so potentiality QA Community Members) are outside of the US, so having a MV only video makes no sense if we want to show people that you can be part of the QA Team even when you live not in MV.
- While I am not against integrating the international video into the existing video, I still have to figure out how we will weave this in without the soccer theme. To me this destroys some of the original flow since in the video everyone passes a soccer ball. We also need Rainer at the meeting to figure out the editing situation since he is only here this week and not sure if has the time to complete the project before he goes on a 3 week vacation. [marcia] - was thinking that this would be no problem according to rainer ? - Tomcat
- Will we use Universal subtitles for the video? [marcia]
- What is status of Team Videos? When will they realistically be available to put up on the site?
- Browser Technologies
- WebQA
- QA Services
- Desktop Firefox
- Automation
Community Events [marcia/tomcat]
- MV Meetup will be held next Wednesday. We will focus on 2 different features, Windows Theme and AMO. We will be preparing documentation to circulate prior to the meetup so the attendees can familiarize themselves with the features before the actual meetup.
- Looking for to the Community Leadership Summit this weekend in Portland, OR
- Meeting this Thursday to finalize details for BlogHer conference in NY. I am lobbying for a meetup with a short presentation.
