Goals

Problems to Solve

  1. Low QA Community Retention via QMO
    • Cannot identify work accomplished in QA Community
    • QMO is consumption only
    • Community members cannot become authors
  2. Too high a bar (i.e. IRC and E-mail) for users to interact with the QA Community

Designs & Requirements

New Features

  • User Accounts( Buddypress )
    • Join Teams and Events - BP Events Calendar
    • Message within Team - BP Group Email Subscription
    • Karma points within messages (goes on profile for user) - BP Rate Forum Posts
    • Extended Profiles
      • Additions by User: Avatar, screenname, location (country), irc nick, Bugzilla account, Website, About Me, T-shirt size - Out of the box
      • Additions by Activity
        • Teams Joined - Template Change
        • Events Joined - Template Change
        • Past Messages (Messages Tab), Karma Points - Out of the box
  • Open Commenting by Default
  • Team Blogs - BP Group Blog
