  • No set schedule for 3.5.12 and 3.6.8 but expecting release post-Black Hat (which is next week). Fixes are being checked in for issues right now and verification should begin.
  • Security team will be in Las Vegas at Black Hat and Defcon from 7/27 to 8/1.
  • No set date yet for ending 3.5.x support. Need more data.

Browser Technologies (Tony)

/User:Tomcat:CLS

    • Munich Meetups - Summer Break during the Summer Holidays
  • Team Video Status
    • Have individual teams developed ideas for their team videos? If so what topics have been created so far?
      • QA Services Team video likely will be the video footage I shot of Marco doing his Accessibility demo at the Science Fair.
  • Test Days, Bugs Day and Meetups
  • Accessibility:
    • FX4: Tracking regressions from our performance enhancements which crept up when the nightlies were exposed to a more wide audience than just my testing.
    • FX3.6.x: Received some reports that OOPP causes problems with at least one of the commercial screen readers. I didn't see any trouble while testing on my end, but users found sites that do expose problems. Turning OOPP off solves the problems, so it's directly related to electrolysis. Working with the AT vendor and the electrolysis team to nail down problems.

Test Automation(Henrik)

  • Goals: Finalized Q3 goals
  • Summit: Great feedback from localizers and add-on authors for the crowd extension
  • Web dashboard: Investigation which framework to use (django, couchapp)
  • Tests: Some more fixes combined with a lot of investigation
  • Tests: Started to move remote test cases to local test cases
  • Tests: Mozilla Messaging is using our update tests for Thunderbird
  • Mozmill: Supplied a couple of patches, i.e. don't use global add-ons
  • Mozmill: 1.4.2b1 released last week
