Project Status

  • Overview (2 min brief update)

Desktop Firefox (Juan)

  • Fx4b8:
    • Code freeze ETA in flux. Possibly end of week/early next week. Beta blockers still need fixing, and the nightly is still crashy.
    • Tentative ship next week ~ December 7nd (Tue).
    • 4.0b8 Test Plan: Minor fixes spread out throughout

WebQA (Stephen)

  • AMO
    • AMO 5.12.3 went live on 11/18
    • Working on AMO 5.12.4 which is scheduled to go live 12/07
  • Input
    • Shipped 2.0.1 last night

    • Continued working on 1.7.6; still no freeze/ship date
  • Mozilla.com
    • Worked on redesign and shipped milestone 11/19 and 11/23
  • MDN
    • Planned release of 0.9.2.1 for 12/2

    • Our new contractor is putting in a good amount of work into our text interfaces, cleaning up implementations and fixing bugs, some of which might see the light in FX4 still.
    • Crashers are quite infrequent, we're dealing with a few assertion bugs right now that crept up recently.
    • My work week in Toronto was very successful.

Test Automation (Henrik)

  • Mozmill
    • Mozmill 1.5.1 add-on has been released on AMO
    • Test results from buildbot have been hidden on tinderbox due to test failures

    • Revised goals and added two new major projects:
      • Triggered nightly update tests (work with RelEng)
      • Proof of concept for endurance tests

    • L10n project with Adrian with some delay close to finish up
