The orientation period should not last more than two weeks although each Mozilla Rep will be strongly encouraged to regularly liaise with their mentors.
== Accepting the applicant into the program ==
When the mentor feels his/her mentee has completed the orientation period then the mentor can officially accept the applicant into the program by changing the applicant's status on bugzilla.
