[[User:jminta|jminta]] reply: I'm not terribly concerned about the async case for the purposes of STEEL. To me, this feels like an advanced case that normal extension writers won't encounter. Those that want to really flex their LDAP muscles could still use the normal XPCOM interfaces. If we did want to implement this, we could have a statusListener attribute that takes a steelIListener that would be passed results when the async transactions complete. | |||
