===== UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS =====

=== COMMUNITY ===

PLATFORM UPDATE:

Contributor(s) of the week:

Knowledge Base:

  • Joni AFK / PTO this week

L10n

Bug review in Bugzilla complete (some outstanding issues were kept to be reviewed for Lithium, some others were closed) Reviewed l10n with our contributors in Hawaii: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1sOtFcD1vLLzV6ev4DNMJayZtiYAeCjUaoWHVBgRHe7Y/edit

  • More "strictly l10n" bugs and requests coming up soon, as we are wrapping up with the reviews for the data migration process

Support Forum:

Please update your flash version if it is not set to automatically update. Thank you again to those who attended the All Hands in Hawaii, there were many excellent moments that identified more potential for the Sumo community as well as opportunities to help with the Lithium Migration, a chance for those who went to show something they did in their community in the last 6 months as well as a proposal for some future education to internet citizens. Sumo Release report is waiting for your submission:

Thank you Seburo for the write up of how to get Firefox for Android on the Amazon Kindle https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-firefox-android-amazon-kindle-fire

Social support:

  • A best practices document will be communicated with the Social Support volunteers and staff by EOD Friday
  • Respond now features #Firefox in the Team Inbox; prior to this we were only receiving tweets that came from individuals who tweeted to Firefox specific handles. This feature will allow for us to service more Firefox users so lets get in there and help our users :)
  • If you see anything in Respond that you're unsure of the answer or what the person is trying to communicate, please send these to me (Sierra) or Rachel with a note. We'll be sure to follow-up and get the correct answer
  • For the month of December, the average time to a first reply is currently 9 hours - great work everyone
  • We are still looking for more volunteers to join Social Support!!! You can email me at sreed@mozilla.com if you would like to become a part of an awesome, fun group
  • Have you not logged into Respond for a while? We miss you! Look for an email from me checking in on you ;)
