Below you will find ways on how you can be recognized. From social featuring to badges to certificates to swag - if you work really hard, you'll can get them all.

FSA and Club of the Month

Each month we will feature one Firefox Student Ambassador and one Firefox Club on our blog and social media channels. If you or your club is doing something amazing and believe you should be recognize - apply below!

Maker Party

A Firefox Student Ambassador is there to promote an open Web and also teach the web! By hosting a Maker Party, or an event using Webmaker tools, you are helping people become more tech savvy and informed. We want to thank you for doing good and reward you with a special FSA Maker Party Badge here.

Before applying, make sure you have written a blog post or created an event reporter.

Beginner

When you first join, you are instructed to complete a Beginner's Guide sent to you in your confirmation e-mail. After finishing all the steps you will then be able to retrieve your very first FSA Open Badge!

Trainee

  • Received the Beginner’s Guide Badge
    • You will be asked to share the link to the badge
  • Created one of the following:
    • A webpage or video (can be thimble/popcorn) about Firefox or Mozilla
    • A blog post about your experience as a Firefox Student Ambassador
    • An app submitted into the marketplace with tag #FirefoxStudents
    • You will be asked to share the link to your creation
  • Watched 1 Office Hour or RSVPed to the latest one
    • You will be asked which one!
  • Registered to Firefox Friends
  • Participated in Campaign Challenge
    • Submit the url to your Say Hello Challenge or Fx10 Sign photos

Junior

  • Received the Trainee Badge
  • Hosted 2 Events
  1. Can be offline or online
  2. 1 should be an Introduction Event
  3. Submit link for proof.
  • Have submitted something into the QCon or have participated in a Campaign Challenge (For example, Hello)


Under processing..........

Senior

  • Have the Junior Badge
  • Can be a Club Lead for 6 months or an FSA for 1 year
  • Have participated in other community events (need a link)
  • Have spoken with someone in another Contribution Area (who & what)
  • Should have an application process with a lot of questions.
  • E-Board will evaluate your contributions and determine if you’re fit for Senior.
  • Will get a open badge, featured in list, be eligible to be invited to Bootcamps, a certificate, and FSA swag pack.
