Sumo Development Update

• Halfway through 2012.11 sprint
• Army of Awesome improvement: now contributors will stay logged in to Twitter as long as they are logged in to SUMO. In the past, they pretty much had to log in every time they came back. (Bug 613084)
• Implementing some of the low hanging UX recommendations:
  • Landed: Implement search box on top and bottom Search Result Page
  • Landed: (AAQ Flow) Make questions/new more visual
  • In progress: (AAQ Flow) Make the length of the AAQ Flow more predictable
  • In progress: Remove in-field label of search

UX

• The phase 3 meeting is going to take place this Thursday at 9am Pacific, [Support/KB/Meetings/2012-06-14 replacing the weekly KB meeting]
• Before the meeting, please read through this run-through of the wireframes
• Bug 762255 tracks the progress of our site visual design
• The Ask A Question form had been updated, again, after our testing. There are two proposals here:
  1. Two-part process. First, confirm product and select topic. Second, fill in question. Third, confirm.
  2. One-part process. First, do everything. Second, confirm. In this step, we do away with topic selection entirely.
• The desktop wireframes had also been updated to reflect the latest wording. It should be pretty much pretty final now.
• The mobile wireframes had also been updated

• Would like some feedback on Bug 762001. Depends on HTML Email notifications. (Tyler)
• Working on improving Contributor documentation, will rerun thread answer helpfulness analysis after changes land (Tyler)
