Campus Affiliate Buttons

Thanks for your interest in having an Affiliate Button for your school. After you receive the code, please encourage those in your Firefox Club (and on your campus!) to post the button on their blogs and social networks. The Firefox Club whose affiliate button is responsible for the largest number of downloads in a 1-month period will be eligible to receive:

• Mention in the monthly newsletter
• Up to 10 Firefox t-shirts for their Club

As a temporary, bonus incentive for Firefox Clubs in India and Bangladesh, we're adding a special prize package for the winning Firefox Clubs in those countries. The Firefox Club in India and the Firefox Club in Bangladesh with the largest numbers of clicks on their affiliates buttons in one or more consecutive months will receive the following prizes:

• Month 1: 10 baseball caps ($132)
• Month 2: 10 moleskin notebooks ($270)
• Month 3: 10 sweatshirts ($668)
• Month 4: 5 rickshaw bags ($1025)

Tips on Promoting your Affiliate Button

To garner the most amount of downloads, we recommend posting your affiliate button in the following places:

• Your Blog
• Websites
• Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) make sure to post the button on your Firefox Club's Facebook page!

The key to success is having as many people as possible post this button! Here are some ways that you can encourage others to adopt your Campus' affiliate button:

• Encourage everyone in your Firefox Club to post at least one (send emails to remind them)
• Make it easy for those who attend your events to get the code
• Provide easy directions to your peers as to the step-by-step directions on how to post an affiliates button (perhaps print-off a directions page)
