Feature Status Review

  • Firefox 90 (Beta)
  • Firefox 91 (Nightly)
    • Mostly On track with 1 challenged item
    • AVIF considered challenged as the feature remains 'on hold' while a comparison is with jpeg-xl is completed. Feels like this will slip from Fx91 but no confirmed change in plans at this time.
    • WebRender appears to be in good shape! 100% rollout expected with Fx91
    • With Prangya leaving Mozilla I have been having a bit of trouble getting updates around Security projects. Working to get information from Ethan moving forward.

  • Thomas and Pascal NOT taking PTO together! We will be off at the same time AND likely in the same place BUT NOT together. Stop asking.
