Feature Status Review

  • Firefox 103 (Release)
    • Working to confirm shipped status on features tracked in Jira. With my recent PTO much of the information feels outdated.
    • Enable Service Worker Partitioning beyond Nightly shifted from Fx103 to Fx107 to avoid potential conflicts with the TCP rollout
  • Firefox 104 (Beta)
    • No feature challenges or at risk at this time
    • Refactoring Form Autofill Test Cases is not considered dev complete
    • Implement PFetch/FetchService slipped to Fx105 to provide for additonal bake time
    • JavaScript Stencil: Off-thread delazification during page load removed from forecast as the team is not yet ready to let this ride the trains and a new forecast has not been established
  • Firefox 105 (Nightly)
    • Edit PDF features in PDF.js remains challenged (was at risk last week) due to an outstanding a11y issue. The team is hopeful this will be resolved soon and looking to be back on track next week
    • Looking to be a light release. Hoping that we'll see more work land in this cycle (to support the 2022 MR) vs Fx106 Nightly/Beta.
