Action Items / Takeaways from Last Week

  • Zac to install the build-config history plugin ([1] in Jenkins
  • Dave to take a look at our Jenkins plugins and see which ones we don't need
    • Sent results of audit to mailing list with recommendations
  • Zac and Marlena to look at Dave's 0.9 version of the pytest-mozwebqa plugin for safeguarded-tests
  • Dave to investigate Tegra2 issue w/certificates
    • Found a solution, hopefully the fix will be in place by version 2.21 of the Selenium Android app
  • Stephen to add a standing line item for performance-testing updates

Discussion Items / Updates

  • pytest changes are looking good, let's do it!! (Marlena)
  • WebQA-wide Pivotal Tracker for automation (or other!) tasks (stephend)
  • Goals. Yes, Goals. Particularly testdays.
  • How are we doing with investigating performance testing/tools/metrics we need to measure?
  • AndroidDriver limited to ICS from 2.20 onwards

    • No release last week or this week.
    • rshetty is investigating the cause of the test failures
  • AMO
    • AMO 6.4.5 is going live 03/08.
    • Had lots of failing tests this week because browserid was turned off and changes to search.
    • This tracker story created so we can turn off the browser id tests easily from jenkins
    • All planned mobile tests for AMO are finished

  • Input
    • 3/2 milestone 4.3.10 went out successfully - Bug 732538
  • Jetpack Builder (aka FlightDeck)
  • Mozilla.com
    • pushed a few bugs
  • Mozillians
    • No releases
    • Team is re-aligning towards almost-continuous delivery
  • MDN
    • Pushed 2.5 milestone
  • Socorro
  • SUMO
    • 3/6 release went out successfully
    • As of 3/6 SUMO is now on continuous deployment without any weekly scheduled releases
  • Case Conductor
    • Testing locally & on new dev/stage site for 0.9 release

    • Need to merge pull to swap out AdBlock Plus for Memchaser in AMO reviews (to help the production run be safer)
    • Stephen to schedule a testday for Mozilla Reps
    • Team will check up next week on testdays
    • Stephen to follow up with Sergey on performance testing tools/progress
    • Dave to summarize the Android ICS issue on the mailing list
    • Stephen to talk to Raymond about mobile tests for Mozilla.com (which will need migration from webdriver)
