Incoming bug triage for FirefoxOS
If you'd like to help improve Firefox OS, this is a good place to start. Newly reported bugs come in every day. We want people to report new bugs, so we can fix them! They're listed in our bug tracker as "UNCONFIRMED", until someone else can replicate the bug.
To make the bug happen again, we often need to ask the bug reporter for more information, and find good "steps to reproduce" the bug.
If you can reproduce a bug, or have other good information, add it in a comment. Confirming bugs and having good steps to reproduce helps developers, QA, and other contributors to get the bug fixed.
How to Help
Read https://wiki.mozilla.org/B2G/QA/Bugzilla for more details! Here's what you can do:
- Make an account on http://bugzilla.mozilla.org
- Look at the lists of UNCONFIRMED bugs, below. Pick one to try.
- Can you reproduce the bug? Can you make it happen again?
- Write down what you did to explore the problem, in a comment on the bug.
- Include information about your phone hardware
- If you need to, ask the person who reported the bug for more info.
- If you confirmed the bug, add lhenry@mozilla.com to the "cc" field at the top of the bug. After you confirm a few bugs successfully, you can get "canconfirm" permissions in bugzilla.
