Program Structure

The Student Reps program structure is broken down into three groups -- Student Ambassadors, Student Working Group, and the ReMo Council.

Group	Description
Firefox Student Ambassadors	Firefox Student Ambassadors are a group of creative (and innovative) individuals who are called to help shape the future of the open web.
Firefox Clubs	Firefox Clubs are a core grouping of Student Ambassadors at your university or college. These Clubs work together on larger projects, campaigns, and events to promote Mozilla, our products, and our mission.
Student Working Group	The 'Firefox Student Ambassadors' program exists under the umbrella of the Mozilla Reps Program and is governed by a Student Working Group that consists of ReMo members.
Mozilla Reps Council	Governing body that sits on top of the Mozilla Reps organizational structure. ReMo Council members act as advisers to the Firefox Student Ambassador program.

Firefox Student Ambassadors

Firefox Student Ambassadors are individuals who are passionate about Firefox, Mozilla, and the open web!

To become a Firefox Student Ambassador you must be:

• Excited to promote Mozilla's products and mission
• 18+ years of age
• Currently associated with an institution of higher education

Previously limited to only students - we are now also welcoming professors and administrators into our program!

Firefox Clubs

Want to meet other Ambassadors at your local university and work with them to promote Firefox (and earn rewards!)?

Firefox Clubs are a key grouping of Student Ambassadors at your school which function as Mozilla's liaison at these institutions. As a Firefox Club, you will work as a team to help others learn about our products, grow the Mozilla community (at your school), host events, and participate in campaigns!

While there are several reasons to create (or participate) in a Firefox Club, here are just a few:

• Leadership Experience
• Mozilla Gear and prizes!
• Possible entrance into the Mozilla Reps Program

Student Working Group

The Student Working Group is a composition of Mozilla Reps who are passionate about helping students promote Mozilla on their campuses. Leaders within the Firefox Student Ambassador program, they are responsible for:

• Integrating students into large-scale Mozilla Rep campaigns event planning
• Distributing gear and funding
• Recognizing students who have done an *amazing* job
• Driving our social media channels
• Guide and advise Firefox Clubs

Regional Student Mentors

In addition, there is a select group within the Student Working Group (Regional Student Mentors) who are responsible for the Community Building activities within the program. These ten individuals aim to deepen and support the Ambassador's participation in the Mozilla community. Among their duties, Regional Student Mentors are responsible for:

• Mentorship of Student Ambassadors and Club Leads
• Preparing Student Ambassadors for their application to the Mozilla Reps program
• Recognizing Ambassador achievements
• Matching Ambassadors with contribution opportunities that are the best match for their skills and interest

ReMo Council

The Mozilla Reps Council is the governing body that sits on top of the Mozilla Reps organizational structure. It oversees the general management of the ReMo program globally and is made up of both paid- and non-paid staff. With regards to the Firefox Student Ambassadors, the ReMo Council will be responsible for:

• Advising as to overall program structure and goals
• Integrating students into their large-scale campaigns
• Educating Ambassadors on community-building strategies
• Selecting interested Reps for the Student Working Group
