Community Platforms is the branch of our Webdev group that builds and supports community engagement and feedback projects, specifically:

Mission

  • To build, maintain, and improve applications that grow and leverage our community to continually improve Mozilla's products like Firefox.
  • To empower the Mozilla community and foster innovation by creating powerful platforms.
  • To find innovative ways to use platforms to drive communication between projects.

Projects

Community Tools Mission

  • To act as a bad-ass precision strike force. To be the glue that holds together the gears of our organization.
  • To create tools to grow and leverage our community.
  • To build on existing platforms to create new opportunities to drive Mozilla's mission.
  • To act as stewards of our open source web projects (with Flux).
