Community Platforms is the branch of our Webdev group that builds and supports community engagement and feedback projects, specifically:

Mission

To build, maintain, and improve applications that grow and leverage our community to continually improve Mozilla's products like Firefox.
To empower the Mozilla community and foster innovation by creating powerful platforms.
To find innovative ways to use platforms to drive communication between projects.

Community Tools Mission

To act as a bad-ass precision strike force. To be the glue that holds together the gears of our organization.
To create tools to grow and leverage our community.
To build on existing platforms to create new opportunities to drive Mozilla's mission.
To act as stewards of our open source web projects (with Flux).
